We are looking for people with the following:
An interest in buildings, architecture and the built environment
A good masters or doctorate degree in structural or civil engineering
5+ years proven experience in engineering consultancy of concrete and steel structures
Experience of international collaboration in projects - UK, Europe, Australia, USA, etc.
Chartered Engineer with either IStructE or ICE
Working knowledge of BS/EN/IS standards
Experience delivering projects incorporating Level 2 BIM with Revit
Site experience is preferable.

Responsibilities:

- Report to the structures leadership group
- Represent EOC at workshops, design team meetings and site meetings
- Manage projects and internal teams of junior engineers, project engineers and technicians
- Develop structural designs on a range of projects in concrete, steel, timber, masonry and other materials
- Coordinate with architects and other engineering consultants as part of the team




- Contribute to production of technical development and R+D initiatives
- Review own and others work as part of quality assurance
- Maintain up to date technical knowledge
- Use analytical software effectively and interpret the outputs well
- Apply theory to practice and in a logical way
- Highlight potential problems and ensures there is resolution
- Perform other duties as reasonably required.

- Adaptable and collaborative approach with the ability to work as part of a team in a busy, creative atmosphere
- Able to build effective working relationships with professionals of all levels and disciplines both locally and globally
- Working knowledge of design software for structural analysis.
