Job Description

BMW TechWorks India is hiring experienced Hardware Design Engineers to develop next-generation Automotive ECU hardware solutions. The role involves end-to-end hardware design, schematic development, PCB review, hardware validation, and collaboration with global engineering teams.

Key Responsibilities

- Design and develop Automotive ECU hardware from concept to production.
- Design microcontroller-based, analog, mixed-signal, and power supply circuits.
- Develop and review schematics and multi-layer PCB layouts.
- Work with automotive communication protocols such as CAN, LIN, Ethernet, SPI, and I2C.
- Support EMC, thermal, environmental, and reliability validation activities.
- Perform component selection, hardware debugging, diagnostics, and testing.
- Mentor junior engineers and participate in technical design reviews.
- Collaborate with Embedded Software, Mechanical,



Functional Safety, Manufacturing, and Global BMW engineering teams.

- Hands-on experience with hardware validation and lab equipment.
- Excellent problem-solving, communication, and technical leadership skills.
