The AI Champion will help identify, evaluate, and implement AI use cases across manufacturing operations producing inverters, lead acid batteries, and lithium-ion batteries. The role will partner with operations, quality, maintenance, IT, and external vendors to convert business pain points into practical AI solutions that improve productivity, quality, uptime, and decision-making.
Key Responsibilities
- Identify and prioritize AI use cases across finance, supply chain, planning sales and service, production, quality, maintenance and HR
- Work with plant and functional teams to translate operational issues into structured problem statements, business cases, and measurable outcomes.
- Support vendor scouting, evaluation, and selection for AI/automation solutions, including proof-of-concept review and implementation fit assessment. Careers.
- Coordinate pilot execution, user feedback, testing, rollout, and adoption tracking.
- Assist in data extraction, cleansing, analysis, and feature preparation for AI/ML models.
- Build or support dashboards, workflows, and lightweight applications for operational use.
- Track ROI, adoption, and business impact of implemented AI initiatives.
- Promote AI awareness and adoption across site teams through demos, training, and change support.
- Profile
The ideal candidate will have 23 years of relevant experience in AI, data analytics, software development, automation,
or manufacturing digital transformation. The role requires a hands-on mindset, robust analytical ability, and the ability to work across both business and technical teams. Exposure to manufacturing or industrial operations will be an advantage.

Education
- Bachelor’s degree in computer science, Information Technology, Data Science, Engineering, or a related field.

Experience Required
- 2–3 years of relevant experience in AI, analytics, software development, or industrial digital transformation.
- Experience in identifying use cases, developing prototypes, or supporting solution implementation.
- Experience in working with vendors, system integrators, or technology partners will be preferred.
Preferred Qualifications
- Experience with manufacturing datasets, ERP/MES data, quality data, sensor data, or production systems.
- Exposure to computer vision, forecasting, anomaly detection, or GenAI applications.
- Understanding of OT/IT environments in industrial operations.
- Familiarity with vendor evaluation, proof-of-concepts, and solution implementation cycles.
