Job Summary

We are looking for a talented Microsoft Dynamics 365 Business Central Technical Consultant to design, develop, customize, and integrate Business Central solutions. The ideal candidate will possess strong development expertise in AL programming, extensions, APIs, and integrations while working closely with functional consultants to deliver scalable and high-quality business solutions.

The role involves technical design, customization, extension development, system integrations, and support throughout the implementation lifecycle.

Key Responsibilities

- Design, develop, and deploy extensions in Microsoft Dynamics 365 Business Central using AL language.
- Customize standard Business Central functionality based on business requirements.
- Develop and maintain integrations with third-party applications using APIs, Web Services, and Azure integration technologies.
- Create reports, pages, codeunits, XMLports, queries, and custom workflows.
- Perform technical analysis and prepare Technical Design Documents (TDDs).
- Support data migration and system upgrade activities.




- Collaborate with functional consultants to translate business requirements into technical solutions.
- Conduct unit testing, code reviews, and performance optimization.
- Troubleshoot and resolve application issues efficiently.
- Follow development best practices, coding standards, and deployment procedures.

Required Skills Experience

- 4-8 years of ERP technical consulting experience with at least 3 years of hands-on experience in Dynamics 365 Business Central / Dynamics NAV development.
- Robust expertise in AL development and Business Central Extensions.
- Experience with Visual Studio Code, Git, Azure DevOps, and CI/CD practices.
- Hands-on experience with APIs, OData, SOAP, REST services, and integrations.
- Knowledge of Business Central architecture and extension development framework.
- Experience in report development using RDLC and Word layouts.
- Understanding of data migration tools and upgrade methodologies.
- Strong debugging, troubleshooting, and analytical skills.
- Ability to work in a customer-facing environment and deliver quality technical solutions.

Preferred Qualifications

- Bachelors degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Engineering, or a related discipline.
- Microsoft Dynamics 365 Business Central Developer Certification.
- Experience with Azure Functions, Logic Apps, Service Bus, and Power Platform integrations.
- Knowledge of SQL Server and database concepts.
- Exposure to international implementation projects and Agile delivery methodologies.
- Understanding of security, performance tuning, and application lifecycle management (ALM) practices.
