JOB SUMMARY

Araya Health Private Limited is seeking a dynamic and result-oriented Area Sales Manager (ASM) to drive business growth across the assigned territory. The ASM will be responsible for achieving sales targets, leading and mentoring Sales Officers, strengthening the distribution network, expanding market reach, and ensuring effective execution of sales strategies. The ideal candidate should possess strong leadership capabilities, excellent market knowledge, and proven experience in channel sales within the FMCG, OTC, Nutraceutical, or Health & Wellness industry.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

- Achieve area-wise primary and secondary sales targets.
- Lead, coach, and monitor the performance of Sales Officers (SOs) to drive business growth.
- Appoint, develop, and manage distributors, stockists, and retail partners across the assigned territory.
- Ensure effective market coverage through regular field visits and joint working with the sales team.
- Develop and execute territory sales plans to improve market penetration and business performance.
- Drive implementation of trade schemes, promotional campaigns, and in-store visibility initiatives.
- Monitor sales performance, competitor activities, pricing, and market trends to identify growth opportunities.
- Build and maintain strong relationships with distributors, retailers, and key business partners.
- Ensure timely collections and maintain commercial discipline across the territory.
- Review sales performance through regular MIS, business reviews, forecasts,



and action plans.
- Identify new business opportunities and expand distribution reach within the assigned area.
- Coordinate with cross-functional teams to ensure smooth execution of business initiatives.

- Proven experience in leading and developing high-performing sales teams.
- Robust understanding of channel sales, distributor management, and territory development.
- Excellent leadership, communication, negotiation, and analytical skills.
- Proficient in MS Excel, sales reporting, and business analysis.
- Willingness to travel extensively within the assigned territory.
