Role Overview

The Fund Manager PMS will be responsible for managing discretionary equity portfolios, developing and executing investment

strategies, driving portfolio performance, and building long-term client trust. The role requires deep equity markets expertise,

strong fund management track record, and sound understanding of SEBI PMS regulations.

Key Responsibilities

Investment & Portfolio Management

Manage discretionary equity PMS portfolios with timely allocation across market caps.

Drive investment strategy, stock selection, sector allocation, and portfolio construction.

Monitor performance, risk metrics, and ensure adherence to internal limits.

Research & Market Analysis

Conduct bottom-up fundamental research, valuations, and financial modeling.

Track macro trends, sector developments, and engage with company managements.

Client & Stakeholder Engagement

Participate in client reviews and articulate portfolio strategy and performance.





Support PMS client acquisition and address investment-related queries.

Compliance & Governance

Ensure compliance with SEBI PMS regulations and internal investment frameworks.

Maintain investment documentation and coordinate with risk and compliance teams.

Leadership (Senior Role)

Mentor analysts and contribute to investment committee discussions.

Candidate Requirements

Experience

12 20+ years of experience in equity fund management / PMS / asset management.

Proven track record managing discretionary PMS or similar equity portfolios.

Prior experience with reputed PMS houses, asset management companies, or broking firms.

Exposure to managing HNI / UHNI client portfolios preferred.

Education & Certifications

Graduate in Commerce / Finance / Economics, MBA / PGDM in Finance preferred.

Mandatory: NISM Series XXI-B Portfolio Managers Certification.

CFA or equivalent qualification is an added advantage.

Skills & Competencies

Strong equity research and portfolio management capabilities.

Sound understanding of Indian equity markets across cycles.

Risk management, performance attribution, and portfolio analytics expertise.

Strong communication and client-facing skills.

High ethical standards and governance mindset
