Key Responsibilities:
- Prepare detailed piping drawings including GA drawings, isometric drawings, and layouts
- Develop 2D/3D drawings using AutoCAD (or similar drafting software)
- Interpret engineering designs, specifications, and technical inputs
- Coordinate with design engineers and project teams for drawing accuracy
- Modify and update drawings as per project changes and site requirements
- Maintain proper documentation and version control of drawings
- Ensure compliance with industry standards and company guidelines
Requirements:
- Diploma / ITI / Degree in Mechanical Engineering or relevant field
- Minimum 3+ years of experience in piping drafting
- Proficiency in AutoCAD (knowledge of 3D tools will be an added advantage)
- Robust understanding of piping layouts, fittings, and standards
- Good communication and coordination skills
- Attention to detail and ability to meet deadlines
Preferred Skills:
- Experience in fire protection systems / industrial piping projects
- Knowledge of relevant codes and standards
