- 48+ years of experience as an MS SQL Server DBA.
- Strong hands-on experience with Microsoft SQL Server 2016/2019/2022.
- Expertise in T-SQL programming, stored procedures, functions, triggers, and views.
- Experience with SQL Server Integration Services (SSIS), SQL Server Reporting Services (SSRS), and SQL Server Analysis Services (SSAS) is an advantage.
- Robust knowledge of performance tuning, indexing strategies, and query optimization.
- Experience with Always On Availability Groups, Replication, Log Shipping, and Failover Clustering.
- Proficiency in backup, recovery, and disaster recovery planning.
- Experience with PowerShell scripting and SQL Server Agent automation.
- Familiarity with monitoring tools such as SQL Server Management Studio (SSMS), Redgate, SolarWinds DPA, SentryOne, or similar tools.
- Knowledge of Windows Server administration and basic networking concepts.
- Experience with Azure SQL Database or AWS RDS for SQL Server is a plus.
Preferred Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field.
- Microsoft SQL Server certifications (e.g., Microsoft Certified: Azure Database Administrator Associate) are preferred.
- Experience in cloud-based SQL Server environments is an added advantage.
