Role & responsibilities

- PLC & HMI Programming: Develop, modify, test, and commission application software for Siemens S7 series PLCs (S7-1200, S7-1500, S7-300/400) using TIA Portal or Step 7 according to project functional design specifications.
- SCADA & Graphics Design: Design, configure, and deploy comprehensive HMI and SCADA screens (WinCC / WinCC Unified), ensuring clean, intuitive, and high-performance graphical interfaces for operators.
- Drive Parameterization: Configure, tune, and parameterize Variable Frequency Drives (VFDs), with a focus on the Siemens Sinamics series, ensuring exact motor control, speed variation, and load optimization.
- Network & Protocol Configuration: Setup, troubleshoot, and manage standard industrial communication networks using protocols such as Profinet, Profibus, Modbus TCP/RTU, and OPC UA.
- On-Site Testing & Loop Checking: Lead pre-commissioning activities at process plant sites, including hardware loop checking, IO testing, sensor calibration, and comprehensive system troubleshooting.
- Hot Commissioning & Handover: Execute final site hot-commissioning to ensure the plant runs smoothly in auto-mode, conduct customer acceptance testing,



and provide technical training to client plant operations teams.
- Documentation & Safety: Maintain precise project documentation, including updated IO lists, logic flowcharts, site backup records, and ensure all engineering activities strictly adhere to process safety standards.

Preferred candidate profile

- Academic Background: Must hold a full-time B.E. / B.Tech or Diploma in Instrumentation & Control, Electronics, or Electrical Engineering.
- Experience Range: 3 to 5 years of dedicated, hands-on experience in industrial automation programming and on-site testing/commissioning.
- Industry Experience: Proven track record of handling projects in Process Industries (e.g., Chemicals, Pharmaceuticals, Water/Wastewater, Food & Beverage, Batch Processing).
- Must be comfortable working independently at project sites, conducting loop checks, and performing hot-commissioning under tight deadlines.
- High adaptability and readiness to travel to various client sites across industrial clusters for project execution.
- Candidates who have previously worked with a System Integrator will be highly preferred.
