About the Role

We are seeking an experienced, highly driven, and result-oriented Senior Scientific Conference Lead- to drive the planning, execution, growth, and commercial success of national and international scientific congresses organized under GIBS (Global Interstitial Cystitis/Bladder Pain Society)



and FEPPA (Female Pelvic Pain Association).
The ideal candidate should possess extensive experience in medical conference management, excellent industry connections, exceptional negotiation skills, and a proven ability to drive registrations, sponsorships, and revenue growth.

Key Responsibilities

Scientific Conference Management

- Plan, coordinate, and execute national and international scientific conferences, workshops, webinars, and educational programs.
- Manage complete conference timelines from concept to successful execution.
- Coordinate with faculty, speakers, scientific committees, and advisory boards.
- Ensure smooth scientific and operational execution of all events.

Registration & Revenue Growth

- Develop innovative strategies to increase delegate registrations.
- Design unique invitation campaigns for doctors, hospitals, institutions, and healthcare professionals.
- Drive conference revenue through registrations, sponsorships, exhibitions, partnerships, and collaborations.
- Identify new growth opportunities to expand the reach and impact of GIBS and FEPPA.

Business Development & Networking

- Build and maintain strong relationships with key opinion leaders (KOLs), healthcare professionals, medical societies, pharmaceutical companies, hospitals, and industry partners.
- Leverage skilled networks to increase participation and engagement.
- Develop long-term partnerships with academic institutions and medical associations.

Budgeting & Vendor Management

- Prepare and manage conference budgets.
- Negotiate with hotels, convention centres, travel partners, production agencies, vendors, and service providers to achieve maximum value and cost efficiency.




- Ensure timely execution within approved budgets while maintaining high-quality standards.

Scientific Content & Marketing

- Coordinate scientific abstracts, presentations, faculty content, and conference materials.
- Collaborate with the scientific team to convert clinical content into engaging promotional campaigns.
- Support digital marketing initiatives using scientific evidence, publications, case studies, and conference highlights.
- Work closely with design and marketing teams to develop impactful promotional materials.

Team Leadership

- Lead and coordinate internal teams as well as external event agencies.
- Allocate responsibilities, monitor deliverables, and ensure timely execution.
- Maintain high standards of professionalism, communication, and accountability.

- Existing network within the healthcare and pharmaceutical ecosystem will be an added advantage.
