- Provide second-level support for complex network issues
- Troubleshoot LAN/WAN/WLAN issues end-to-end
- Configure, manage, and optimize network devices (routers, switches,



firewalls)
- Implement and support routing protocols (OSPF, BGP basic)
- Handle firewall rule creation, NAT, VPN troubleshooting
- Perform network changes, upgrades, and maintenance activities
- Analyze logs, packet captures, and performance issues
- Ensure compliance with security standards and STIGs (if applicable)
- Mentor L1 engineers and assist in root cause analysis (RCA)
- Coordinate with vendors, ISPs, and internal teams
