Role Overview

The Accountant will be responsible for managing financial transactions, ensuring compliance with tax regulations, and overseeing inventory-related accounting. The ideal candidate should be proficient in Tally software, have a robust understanding of GST, TDS, and PT, and be capable of handling financial reconciliations efficiently.

Key Responsibilities

- Record and maintain financial transactions accurately using Tally.
- Manage day-to-day accounting tasks, including invoicing, billing, petty cash, and bank reconciliations.
- Ensure GST compliance and assist in the timely filing of returns.
- Oversee inventory management, track stock levels, and generate relevant reports.
- Reconcile financial discrepancies and address inventory-related issues promptly.
- Ensure accurate calculation and filing of TDS, PT, and GST returns.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to gather necessary financial data.
- Assist in internal audits to ensure data accuracy and integrity.
- Stay updated on tax laws, accounting standards, and regulatory changes.




- Apply accounting principles to analyze financial data and provide insights.
- Handle import documentation, purchase orders (PO), and work orders.
- Prepare monthly MIS reports, close financial books, and maintain the balance sheet.

Key Qualifications & Skills

- Bachelors degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field.
- 2-5 years of experience in accounting, taxation, and inventory management.
- Proficiency in Tally software for accounting and inventory purposes.
- Strong knowledge of TDS, and GST regulations, and experience in return filing.
- Familiarity with basic accounting principles and auditing practices.
- Effective communication and organizational skills with attention to detail.
- Ability to work under supervision and meet tight deadlines.
- Basic proficiency in Microsoft Excel and accounting tools.
- Prior experience in a similar role involving inventory management is preferred.
