Key Responsibilities

Procurement Planning

- Prepare project-wise procurement plans based on approved drawings, BOQs, material take-offs, and construction schedules.
- Forecast material requirements and procurement lead times.
- Coordinate procurement priorities with Design, Projects, and Factory teams.

Material Procurement

Procure and manage materials including:

- Aluminium Extrusions
- Architectural Glass (Toughened, Laminated, DGU/IGU)
- ACP Panels
- Curtain Wall Accessories
- Aluminium Door & Window Hardware
- Spider Fittings
- Structural Silicone & Weather Sealants
- EPDM Gaskets
- Brackets, Anchors & Fasteners
- Mild Steel & Stainless Steel Components
- Louvers, Screens & Architectural Metal Works

Vendor Management

- Identify, evaluate, and develop reliable suppliers.
- Maintain an approved vendor database.
- Obtain quotations and prepare comparative statements.
- Negotiate pricing, payment terms, delivery schedules, and commercial conditions.
- Monitor supplier performance and resolve supply-related issues.

Purchase Order Management

- Prepare and release Purchase Orders.
- Verify technical specifications before order placement.
- Track order status from confirmation to delivery.
- Coordinate order amendments where required.

Supply Chain & Logistics

- Monitor manufacturing and dispatch schedules.
- Coordinate transportation and deliveries to factory and project sites.
- Ensure uninterrupted material availability.
- Resolve procurement and logistics challenges proactively.

Inventory & Cost Control

- Monitor inventory levels and material consumption.
- Prevent material shortages and excess stock.




- Support value engineering initiatives.
- Identify cost-saving opportunities through strategic sourcing and alternate suppliers.

Documentation & Reporting

Maintain accurate records of:

- RFQs
- Comparative Statements
- Purchase Orders
- Vendor Database
- Delivery Status Reports
- Procurement MIS
- Cost Saving Reports
- Material Tracking Registers

Candidate Requirements

Educational Qualification

- B.E./B.Tech in Civil Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, Production Engineering, or a related field.
- MBA in Supply Chain Management or Operations will be an added advantage.

Experience

- 5/10 years of procurement experience in the faade, glazing, aluminium systems, or construction industry.
- Experience handling procurement for multiple projects simultaneously.
