About the Role

Our Client is a leading organization in the digital payments and transaction processing domain. They are looking for bright and resourceful professionals to join their DevOps / IT Operations team in Mumbai.

The team is responsible for ensuring stability, availability, and performance of production applications and infrastructure.

Responsibilities
The role focuses on L2 level monitoring and support for our production applications and infrastructure.
The ideal candidate should

- Minimum 4 years of experience in Production Support & IT Operations management in the Payments/Banking industry.




- Have hands-on-experience in providing level 2 ( L2 ) monitoring and engineering support.
- Have strong experience in working on Linux based production environment.
- Be familiar with basic networking tools like Nagios, Jenkins etc.
- Knowledge of transaction & system monitoring, downtime analysis, Report generation, Ticket closures. Coordinate with internal and external teams.
- Have a basic understanding of scripting languages like Shell, Python and Bash.

Qualifications

- 4-6 years of strong hands-on experience
- Bachelors Degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering or similar
- The ability to manage multiple tasks in a fast-paced environment
- A passion for new technologies and ideas
- Good communication skills & time management
- Be proactive and plan for situations instead of reacting to them
- Systematic problem-solving approach, coupled with a strong sense of ownership and drive
