Brief Summary of Job responsibilities

Inventory controlling, Manpower Management, Materials Reordering, Handling intra departmental and vendor queries, Gate pass (NRGP RGP), TAT Maintenance, Bi-Annual Stock verification, Reduction in Obsolete Inventory, Near Expiry Material management and maintaining day-to-day operations.

General Job responsibilities:

1. Set goals and objectives for the stores section in consultation with head of Materials Management Department.

2. Scrutiny and signing of all GRNs. Responsible for Wrong GRN cancellations. Maintaining the GRN Punching TAT as per SOP.

3. Organizes and oversees timely requisitioning of stockable items to ensure availability of items.

4. Scrutiny and verification of all PRs to ensure completeness of PR and interaction with users for justification.

5. Monitors slow moving and non-moving items with a view to minimize obsolescence and deterioration / loss due to expiry of products.

6. Follow up with Purchase for returns of Expired, Near expiry and Defective items.

7. Responsible for submission of pending RGP status and closure of pending RGP in coordination with Purchase.

8. Ensure proper security of all the stores items.

9. Sanctioning of staff leaves while ensuring smooth functioning of the dept.

10. Solving queries of staff and other inter-departmental queries.

11. Submits MIS for the store by 10th of every month.

12. Responsible for stock adjustment entries in all stores with proper justification.

13. Ensures and overseas maintenance of records and reports involved in stores operations.

14. Monitor regular stock verification as per schedule for all stores and make stock

verification report.

15. Prepare for and supervise Bi-Yearly physical stock-checking with Auditors prepare variance report for the same for submission to Finance.

16. Responsible for all Licenses,



Quality Audits of stores required for various accreditations its renewals.

17. Orients/Trains, schedules, assign personnel of stores and counsel and guide them.

18. Maintains professional growth and developments through Seminars, workshops, skilled application etc. for the staff.

19. Supervision of Inventory Control in Cath Lab and DSA

Specific Job responsibilities

1. Availability of Medical Consumable

2. Monitoring and maximum liquidation Near Expiries and Obsolete material.

3. Legal Compliance (FDA / Legal Meteorology)

Inter and Intra Department Coordination for smooth Operations
