Position: Key Accounts Manager (Freight Forwarding)

Job Overview

As a Key Accounts Manager (KAM), you will serve as the primary point of contact for assigned customers, ensuring seamless coordination across departments including Export Documentation, Pricing, Port Operations, Transport, Sales, and Business Development. You will oversee the complete shipment cycle from booking to delivery — while ensuring timely updates, operational efficiency, and exceptional customer satisfaction.

Key Responsibilities

- Act as a single point of contact for key customers, maintaining strong, long-term business relationships.
- Coordinate with internal teams to ensure smooth execution of shipments from booking to delivery.
- Monitor shipment status, proactively manage exceptions, and communicate updates to clients.
- Address customer queries related to vessel schedules, rates,



and shipping documentation.
- Analyze customer shipment trends and provide forecasts to support operational planning.
- Liaise with pricing and business development teams to offer competitive solutions and improve client retention.
- Resolve shipment-related issues promptly and ensure service excellence across all touchpoints.
- Maintain accurate records of client communications and shipment details in company systems.

Requirements

- Graduate in any discipline
- 3–4 years of experience in freight forwarding ONLY , handling key accounts
- Robust understanding of export documentation, port operations, and shipping processes.
- Excellent communication, coordination, and problem-solving skills.
- Proficiency in LOGY SYS
