About Pediatric Cancer Research Institute (PCRI)
The Pediatric Cancer Research Institute (PCRI), CanKids KidsCan, is recognized as a Scientific Industrial Research Organisation (SIRO) by the Department of Scientific and Industrial Research (DSIR), Government of India. PCRI works towards improving childhood cancer care in India by promoting, supporting, and undertaking research initiatives focused on improving survival rates and outcomes for children with cancer.
Job Summary
We are looking for a detail-oriented and motivated Research Coordinator to support the planning, execution, and management of research projects at PCRI.
The role involves coordinating research activities, maintaining study documentation, managing research data, ensuring regulatory compliance, and supporting publications and research outputs.
Key Responsibilities
Research Coordination & Study Management
- Coordinate day-to-day activities of assigned research studies.
- Support research project planning, implementation, and monitoring.
- Assist in protocol development and study documentation.
Data Management & Documentation
- Manage data collection, entry, cleaning, and preliminary analysis.
- Maintain accurate research records, study files, and documentation.
- Ensure data integrity, confidentiality, and security.
Regulatory Compliance
- Ensure research activities comply with study protocols, SOPs, Good Clinical Practice (GCP), and applicable regulations.
- Support regulatory reporting and adverse event documentation.
Research Communication & Support
- Coordinate with investigators, research teams, sponsors, and collaborators.
- Organize research meetings, training sessions, and study visits.
- Assist in preparing research reports, abstracts, presentations, and publications.
Quality Improvement
- Contribute to quality improvement initiatives within the research program.
- Support continuous improvement of research processes.
Required Qualifications
Education:
- Bachelor’s degree in Life Sciences, Public Health,
- Master’s degree preferred.
Experience:
- 0–1 years of experience in clinical research, field research, or research coordination preferred.
- Freshers with relevant academic exposure may also apply.
Required Skills
- Knowledge of research ethics, GCP, and regulatory guidelines.
- Strong organizational and documentation skills.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
- Proficiency in MS Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint).
- Ability to manage multiple tasks and prioritize effectively.
- Ability to work independently with minimal supervision.
- Attention to detail and commitment to research quality.
