The Head Trade Remittances will be responsible for leading and managing the Import Export Trade Business Remittance business for Transcorp International Limited under the RBI-authorized AD-II framework.

The ideal candidate should possess strong hands-on experience in Import Export Trade Business Remittances with deep knowledge of trade transactions, FEMA regulations, RBI guidelines, trade documentation, compliance processes, and banking coordination. The incumbent should have an established network and active relationships with importer and exporter clients and should be capable of bringing business opportunities and revenue growth to the organization.

The role requires a robust business development orientation along with operational expertise to build Trade Business Remittance business volumes, onboard importer/exporter clients, manage banking relationships, ensure regulatory compliance, and strengthen Transcorp s position in the Trade Business Remittances segment.

Role Responsibility

A. Departmental Activity

Manage end-to-end Trade Business Remittance operations for import and export clients including inward and outward remittances.

Ensure timely scrutiny, verification, and processing of trade documents in line with RBI and FEMA guidelines.

Monitor operational efficiency and ensure smooth execution of client transactions.





Lead Import Export Trade Business Remittance business development initiatives and generate new business opportunities through existing client relationships and market network.

Develop and maintain strong relationships with importer/exporter clients, banks, corporate partners, and trade ecosystem stakeholders.

Ensure adherence to AML, KYC, sanctions screening, and compliance protocols.

Handle escalations, discrepancies, and transaction-related operational risks.

Prepare MIS reports, compliance reports, and business performance dashboards.

Build, mentor, and manage Trade Business Remittance operations and business teams.

B. Organizational Activity

Collaborate with Compliance, Legal, Finance, and Operations teams for seamless business functioning.

Support management in strategic expansion of Trade Business Remittance business.

Contribute towards policy formulation and process enhancement initiatives.

Ensure audit readiness and closure of audit observations within defined timelines.

Maintain strong coordination with partner banks and regulatory stakeholders.
