Job Summary:
The Tax Analyst II will be responsible for supporting the Company's U.S. International Tax Compliance and Reporting functions. The role requires robust technical knowledge of U.S. international tax regulations, foreign information reporting forms such as 5471,8858, 8865, 89series forms, tax calculations such as GILTI, FDII, CBCR and cross-border transactions. The successful candidate will work closely with Tax team lead, offshore leaders and external advisors to ensure accurate and timely compliance with U.S. tax requirements.
Essential Job Duties
- Prepare and review U.S. International Tax Compliance forms including Forms 5471, 8858, 8865, 1118, 8992, 8993, 8975, and related IRS disclosures.
- Prepare and analyze Earnings & Profits (E&P;) calculations and tax basis computations.
- Support preparation of NCTI (GILTI) , Subpart F Income, FDDEI(FDII), FTC and BEAT.
- Prepare and review Country-by-Country Reporting (CbCR) and related support schedules.
- Analyze and document intercompany transactions and cross-border financing arrangements.
- Prepare supporting workpapers for U.S. international tax returns and provision calculations.
- Research U.S. international tax issues and summarize technical findings.
- Coordinate with corporate finance, accounting, legal, and regional tax teams to gather compliance data.
- Maintain compliance calendars and ensure timely filing of tax returns and disclosures.
- Identify process improvement opportunities and support automation initiatives using tax technology tools.
Basic Qualifications
Education & Experience
- Education & Experience: Bachelors degree in accounting, Finance, Taxation, or related field.
- 5–8 years of experience in U.S. International Tax Compliance.
- Experience preparing and reviewing Forms 5471, 8858, 8865, and IRS disclosure statements.
- Master’s degree in taxation/accounting preferred
Knowledge/Skills/Abilities
- Experience with ONESOURCE or GoSystem, Alteryx, BNA tax Research, Power BI
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
- Ability to interpret and apply complex U.S. International Tax regulations.
- Ability to manage multiple deadlines in a fast-paced environment.
- Detail-oriented with high standards of accuracy.
- Ability to work independently and collaboratively across global teams.
- Continuous learning mindset and willingness to adapt to changing tax laws
Preferred Qualifications:
- Experience working in a multinational corporation or Big 4 environment.
- Exposure to tax technology and process automation initiatives.
- Experience supporting international tax audits and controversy matters.
- Knowledge of ASC 740 tax accounting concepts.
- Experience with global tax reporting and CbCR requirements.
