- Assign accurate medical codes to patient records using CPC, HCC, and ICD-10-CM/PCS coding systems.
- Review and edit coded data for accuracy, completeness, and compliance with industry standards.
- Collaborate with healthcare providers to resolve billing discrepancies and ensure timely submission of claims.
- Maintain confidentiality of sensitive patient information at all times.
Job Requirements :
- 3-12 years of experience in medical coding (CPC or HCC).
- Robust knowledge of anatomy, physiology, pharmacology, and pathophysiology.
- Proficiency in CPT, ICD-10-CM/PCS, HCC coding systems.
