Role & responsibilities

The incumbent will lead quality control activities of bought out parts to achieve internal and external customer satisfaction , to identify potentially non-conforming parts, prior to placing the material in the inventory or moving it to the production flow.

Preferred candidate profile

7 years of hands-on experience in EV / Receipt Quality Function for OEMs, tier-1 automotive suppliers Expertise in Metrology inspection and instruments handling Expertise in Electrical parts inspection knowledge Expertise in New product establishment process for receipt quality systems erection Expertise in Geometric dimensions and tolerance knowledge Analysis and root cause findout knowledge for Internal customer concern Handling on ISO documentation and requirement activities Expertise in DOE / 8D / QC TOOLS problem solving methodology , Experience in Field issues / Warranty parts analysis and issues resolution activities Expertise in MIS Preparation and man power management

Key Responsibilities:

To establish Receipt Quality function standards for Electric vehicle parts. To Prepare Receipt inspection standards and checklists in collaboration with Specification agreements Electrical parts inspection standard preparation and checking aids planning To Track progress of inspection of bought out parts and ensure GRN clearance of goods receipt notes To Prepare quality problem highlight (QPH)



for sourcing and strategic sourcing teams to initiate corrective action at supplier's end Check the quality and propose parts fit for direct-on-line processing in collaboration with quality assurance Incorporate internal and external customer feedback to improvise inspection activities Evaluate and finalize external labs in collaboration with quality assurance for testing of parts for new products Part handling system establishment for new parts / Trial parts and rejection parts to ensure effective quarantining Gauges , Measuring instrument and Test rigs planning , Procurement and installation confirmation Recent product part level SRK activities planning and completion To ensure inspector skill matrix meeting standard through manpower training and skill enhancement To achieve quality metrics through problem solving methodology and analysis To establish self life parts inspection and instrument Calibration systems To ensure part conformity to achieve Homologation requirement To conduct Design change and process change tryouts validation and ensure Management of Change process To Coordinate continuous improvement Kaizens and Small Group Activities ( SGA ) projects To conduct BOM audit validations , SAP approvals and quality clearance activities To adhere and ensure Rejection and concession management control To adhere IMS requirement and prove out process for Certification audits To map KPI metrics and cascading activities to achieve targets To map and optimize Budget , Manpower , Cost saving initiatives
