Role & responsibilities

Key Responsibilities

- Deliver lectures and practical sessions in Electrical Engineering and/or Electronics Engineering subjects as per the prescribed curriculum.
- Prepare lesson plans, teaching materials, assignments, and laboratory manuals.
- Conduct laboratory experiments and ensure the proper utilization of equipment and resources.
- Assess student performance through tests, assignments, practical examinations, and semester examinations.
- Maintain attendance records, internal assessment records, and academic documentation.
- Mentor and guide students in academic projects, technical competitions, and career development activities.
- Assist in curriculum development and continuous improvement of teaching methodologies.
- Ensure laboratory safety and proper maintenance of equipment and instruments.
- Participate in departmental meetings, workshops, seminars, and faculty development programs.




- Support accreditation, quality assurance, and institutional development initiatives.
- Coordinate with industry partners for industrial visits, internships, and placement-related activities.

Required Skills

- Strong knowledge of Electrical and Electronics Engineering fundamentals.
- Ability to teach theoretical and practical subjects effectively.
- Valuable communication and presentation skills.
- Proficiency in MS Office and academic documentation.
- Strong analytical, problem-solving, and mentoring abilities.
- Ability to work collaboratively with students, faculty, and administration.

Preferred candidate profile

- Prior experience as a Lecturer in a Polytechnic College is preferred.
