JOB DESCRIPTION - MECHANICAL DESIGN

- Job Title: Engineer 1 - Mechanical Design
- Years of Experience: 3 to 5
- Location: Perungudi, Chennai

Key Responsibilities:

The responsibilities will include, but are not limited to:

Assisting in the design of mechanical components for our robots, including creating 3D models and drawings using software such as SolidWorks or AutoCAD.

Conducting research and analysis to support mechanical design decisions, such as material selection and structural integrity.

Perform engineering calculations to support design work

Performing FEA & Explicit dynamics simulations. performance and functionality requirements.

Collaborating with multi-disciplinary teams to ensure designs meet

Participating in design reviews and providing feedback for continuous improvement of the design process.

Assisting in the assembly and testing of prototypes to ensure quality and functionality.

Maintaining accurate documentation of design changes and updates.

Keeping up-to-date with industry trends and technologies related to mechanical design and robotics.

Requirements:





Bachelor's degree in mechanical engineering or in a related field.

Firm grasp of engineering concepts, Prior experience in designing and integrating mechanical components

Excellent math skills: ability to apply advanced mathematical principles and statistics to solve problems

Exceptional technical and problem-solving skills and reasoning ability

Experience using software packages such as SolidWorks, Autodesk Fusion and Ansys What we are looking for: learn and contribute to our team.
