Job Summary

We are looking for a detail-oriented SAS Tester with 2+ years of testing experience to join our QA team. The ideal candidate should have hands-on experience in SAS Testing, SAS Programming, SQL, ETL Testing, and Data Warehouse Testing. The role involves validating complex data pipelines, ensuring data accuracy, and performing end-to-end testing across enterprise data platforms.

Key Responsibilities

- Design, develop, and execute test cases for SAS-based applications and data processing workflows.
- Validate ETL processes by ensuring data accuracy, completeness, and consistency across source and target systems.
- Perform Functional Testing, Regression Testing, System Testing, and Integration Testing.
- Write and execute SAS programs to validate data transformations and business logic.
- Develop and execute SQL queries for backend data validation and defect analysis.
- Test Data Warehouse components, including fact and dimension tables, data marts, and reporting layers.
- Identify, log, track, and verify defects using defect management tools.
- Collaborate with developers, business analysts, and data engineers to understand business requirements and resolve issues.
- Prepare test plans, test scenarios, test cases,



and test execution reports.
- Participate in requirement analysis, sprint planning, and QA review meetings.
- Ensure compliance with QA standards and testing best practices.

Required Skills

- Strong experience in SAS Testing.
- Hands-on experience with SAS Programming.
- Good knowledge of SQL for data validation and analysis.
- Experience in ETL Testing and Data Warehouse Testing.
- Expertise in Functional Testing and Regression Testing.
- Strong understanding of SDLC and STLC.
- Experience in defect tracking and test management tools.
- Positive analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills.

Preferred Skills

- Exposure to Banking, Financial Services, or Healthcare domains.
- Experience with ETL tools such as Informatica or DataStage is an advantage.
- Knowledge of Agile/Scrum methodology.
- Familiarity with automation testing concepts is a plus.

Qualifications

- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Engineering, or a related field.
- 2+ years of experience in Software Testing with a focus on SAS, SQL, ETL, and Data Warehouse Testing.
