We are seeking an experienced Senior Database Administrator (DBA) to design, implement, and support enterprise database environments. The ideal candidate will have strong expertise in SQL Server, PostgreSQL, Linux/Unix, and database performance tuning. You will be responsible for ensuring high availability, security, backup and recovery, and optimal database performance while supporting mission-critical business applications.

Key Responsibilities:

- Design, implement, administer, and maintain enterprise database environments.
- Monitor database health, performance, and availability.
- Perform database performance tuning and optimization.
- Plan, execute, and support database installations, upgrades, migrations, and patches.
- Develop and maintain backup, recovery, and disaster recovery strategies.
- Troubleshoot production issues and perform root cause analysis.
- Create and maintain operational scripts for database automation.
- Implement database security best practices and ensure compliance with PCI, SOX, GLBA, FDIC, and internal policies.




- Support change management activities and ensure minimal business impact during deployments.
- Collaborate with application, infrastructure, and operations teams to deliver reliable database solutions.
- Provide documentation, technical guidance, and mentorship to junior team members.
- Participate in on-call production support as required.

Required Skills:

- 6+ years of experience in Database Administration.
- Robust hands-on experience with Microsoft SQL Server.
- Experience with PostgreSQL administration.
- Strong knowledge of Windows and Linux/Unix operating systems.
- Expertise in SQL, T-SQL, database performance tuning, indexing, and query optimization.
- Experience with backup, recovery, high availability, and disaster recovery.
- Knowledge of database monitoring and troubleshooting tools.
- Understanding of networking fundamentals and database security.
