Job Summary

The NPD Manager is responsible for leading the development and commercialization of innovative food products from concept to market launch. The role focuses on product innovation, formulation, project management, quality compliance, and cross-functional collaboration to deliver high-quality products that meet consumer needs and business objectives.

Key Responsibilities

- Lead end-to-end current product development from concept to commercialization.
- Develop and optimize product formulations, recipes, and manufacturing processes.
- Conduct laboratory, pilot, and production trials to validate product performance.
- Collaborate with Production, Quality, Procurement, Marketing, and Supply Chain teams for successful product launches.
- Monitor market trends, consumer insights, and competitor activities to drive innovation.
- Conduct sensory evaluations, shelf-life studies, and product benchmarking.
- Ensure compliance with food safety standards, FSSAI regulations, and labeling requirements.
- Maintain product documentation,



specifications, and development records.
- Manage project timelines, budgets, and cross-functional coordination.
- Optimize product cost without compromising quality.

Qualifications

- Bachelors or Masters degree in Food Technology, Food Science, Dairy Technology, or a related field.

Experience

- 8 12 years of experience in New Product Development or RD in the Food Beverage/FMCG industry.
