Experience Required

1012 years of overall IT / SAP experience

Minimum 5+ years of hands-on experience in SAP MM and PP (combined or individually deep in both)

At least one end-to-end SAP MM/PP implementation (mandatory)

Bachelor’s degree or equivalent qualification

Key Responsibilities

Drive end-to-end Greenfield implementation of SAP MM and PP solutions

Engage with business stakeholders for requirement gathering, process design, and solution mapping across procurement and manufacturing

Configure and implement key MM functionalities: procurement (P2P), purchasing, inventory management, material master, valuation & account determination, invoice verification (MIRO), pricing & release strategies, STO, and subcontracting

Configure and implement key PP functionalities: BOM, routings, work centers, MRP, demand management, production / process orders, capacity planning, and shop floor control (discrete, repetitive, and process manufacturing)

Prepare functional specifications for custom developments (ABAP objects)

Support User Acceptance Testing (UAT) and business validation

Ensure integration with SAP modules (SD, FICO, QM, PM, WM/EWM) and other systems (BI/XI)

SAP MM/PP AMS Consultant





- Drive end-to-end Greenfield implementation of SAP MM and PP solutions, and support experience needed
- Engage with business stakeholders for requirement gathering, process design, and solution mapping across procurement and manufacturing
- Prepare functional specifications for custom developments (ABAP objects)
- Own documentation including process flows, configuration documents, test cases, and design documents

Mandatory skills

- Solid configuration experience in SAP MM (Materials Management) and SAP PP (Production Planning)
- Sound understanding of master data: material master, BOM, routings, work centers, info records, source lists
- Expertise in MRP, demand & supply planning, and production execution
- Ability to create Functional Specifications for ABAP developments
- Working knowledge of:
- SAP S/4HANA and SAP HANA
- MM–FI and MM–SD integration; PP–QM and PP–PM integration
- Interfaces with SAP BI & XI / PI
- Ability to read and understand ABAP programs
- Understanding of system integration across the SAP landscape
