Role Overview
We are looking for a skilled and proactive Azure & PostgreSQL Support Engineer to manage cloud-based solutions and database systems while ensuring high availability, performance, and service excellence. The ideal candidate should have strong technical expertise along with a service-oriented mindset aligned with ITIL practices.

Primary Skills
Microsoft Azure Deployment, monitoring, and management of Azure services, VMs, networking, storage, and monitoring tools.
PostgreSQL Installation, configuration, administration, performance tuning, backup & recovery, troubleshooting, and SQL optimization.

Secondary Skills
Service Management Incident, Problem, and Change Management.
ITIL Understanding of ITIL processes and best practices in production support environments.

Other Requirements
Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
Willingness to work in rotational shifts / 24x7 support setting.




Positive attitude and strong team collaboration skills.
Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment.

Key Responsibilities
Manage and support Azure cloud infrastructure and PostgreSQL databases.
Monitor system health, performance, and availability.
Handle incidents, service requests, and escalations efficiently.
Perform root cause analysis and implement preventive measures.
Ensure adherence to ITIL service management processes.
Collaborate with cross-functional teams for issue resolution and deployments.

Nice to Have
Azure Certifications (AZ-900, AZ-104, etc.).
PostgreSQL replication and advanced database tuning experience.
Automation/Scripting using PowerShell, Bash, or Python.
