Position Overview

We are seeking an experienced Senior Finance Manager to lead financial planning, analysis, and control functions for our organization. This role is critical to driving financial discipline, enabling data-driven business decisions, and partnering across the business to optimize profitability and operational efficiency. The ideal candidate will have 1015 years of progressive finance experience, with solid technical expertise in financial modelling and business acumen to translate financial insights into strategic recommendations.

Key Responsibilities

Financial Planning & Analysis

You will develop and maintain comprehensive, driver-based financial models that forecast revenue, costs, and margin across the organization. You will lead the annual budgeting cycle and manage monthly forecasting processes, ensuring accuracy and alignment with business objectives. Additionally, you will build sophisticated scenario models to support strategic decision-making, enabling leadership to evaluate the financial impact of various business initiatives and market conditions.

Financial Control & Reporting

You will own the monthly close process and ensure timely, accurate financial reporting to stakeholders. This includes tracking budget versus actuals across all projects and business units, identifying variances, and investigating root causes. You will maintain the highest standards of financial data integrity and establish controls to ensure the reliability of all financial information used for decision-making.

Business Partnering

You will serve as a strategic finance partner to Delivery, Sales, and Operations teams, providing deep visibility into key performance metrics including resource utilization, billing rates, and project-level margins. You will translate financial data into actionable insights that drive profitability improvements, working collaboratively to identify opportunities for operational optimization and revenue enhancement.

Pricing & Margin Management





You will provide critical analytical support for pricing decisions by conducting comprehensive cost and margin analysis. You will build and maintain standard cost rate models that reflect the true economics of service delivery. You will actively identify margin leakage across projects and business units, developing and recommending corrective actions to protect and enhance profitability.

Finance Systems & Process Improvement

You will design and develop financial dashboards and reporting frameworks using advanced Excel capabilities and business intelligence tools. You will establish standardized financial processes and reporting cadences that create consistency and efficiency across the organization. You will champion continuous improvement initiatives that enhance visibility into financial performance and reduce manual reporting burden.

Leadership Reporting

You will prepare executive-level financial summaries, insights, and performance analyses for senior management and the board. You will translate complex financial data into clear business recommendations, ensuring that financial information directly supports strategic planning and decision-making at the highest levels of the organization.

Required Qualifications

Experience & Background: You will have 10–15 years of progressive experience in finance, with demonstrated expertise in financial planning and analysis, corporate finance, or controllership functions. Experience in IT services, consulting, or SaaS industries is highly preferred, as this background provides valuable context for our business model and operating dynamics.

Technical Skills: You must possess expert-level financial modeling capabilities and strong analytical skills, with the ability to build complex,



dynamic models that drive insights. Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Excel is essential; experience with business intelligence platforms (Tableau, Power BI, or similar tools) is a significant advantage.

Business Acumen & Communication: You will demonstrate strong business judgment and the ability to think strategically about financial performance and organizational priorities. You must communicate effectively across all levels of the organization, translating financial concepts for non-finance audiences and articulating business recommendations with clarity and impact.

Regulatory & Tax Knowledge: You will have working knowledge of India and US tax considerations, enabling you to support the organization's tax planning and compliance activities effectively.

Preferred Qualifications

- CPA, CMA, or similar finance certification

- Experience managing finance teams or mentoring junior finance professionals

- Exposure to ERP systems and financial management software

- Background in services or project-based business models

- Experience with FP&A; software platforms or advanced analytics tools
