We are seeking a skilled and experienced Backend Developer with strong expertise in .NET Core (v10) , REST API development , and Azure cloud services . The ideal candidate will be responsible for designing and building scalable backend systems, ensuring high performance, security, and seamless integration with frontend and external systems. Experience in Life Insurance platforms will be an added advantage.

Key Responsibilities

- Design, develop, and maintain robust backend services using .NET Core 10
- Build and optimize RESTful APIs for scalability, performance, and reliability
- Implement Entity Framework Core for efficient database access and data management
- Apply CQRS and Repository design patterns to ensure clean architecture and maintainability
- Develop comprehensive unit tests using NUnit, xUnit, and Moq frameworks
- Work with Azure services including Azure Functions, App Services, Azure AD, Azure SQL, and Azure Blob Storage
- Manage and optimize databases in Azure SQL and implement data storage solutions using Azure Blob Storage
- Collaborate effectively with frontend, QA, and DevOps teams to ensure smooth system integration
- Participate in code reviews, design discussions, and Agile ceremonies
- Ensure application security, performance, and reliability standards are met and maintained
- Troubleshoot, debug, and resolve backend issues with robust analytical skills

Required Skills & Qualifications

- Strong experience in .NET Core (latest versions preferred, including .NET 10 exposure)
- Hands-on experience in REST API development and API design principles
- Solid understanding of Entity Framework Core, LINQ, and SQL
- Experience with CQRS and Repository design patterns
- Unit testing expertise using NUnit, xUnit, and Moq frameworks
- Hands-on experience with Azure services including:
- Azure AD (Authentication and Authorization)
- Azure Functions
- Azure App Services
- Azure SQL Database




- Azure Blob Storage

- Strong understanding of OOP principles, SOLID design principles, and backend architecture
- Familiarity with version control tools (Git, Azure DevOps)
- Good debugging and analytical skills
- Understanding of microservices architecture
- Bachelors degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or related field (or equivalent professional experience)
- Minimum 3-5 years of professional backend development experience

Preferred Qualifications

- Experience in Life Insurance domain
- Knowledge of scripting languages such as ReactJS or JavaScript
- Exposure to insurance platforms such as:
- CoreSuite (Sapiens)
- LifeNet
- HomeOffice

- Experience with CI/CD pipelines (Azure DevOps, GitHub Actions)
- Experience with containerization technologies (Docker, Kubernetes)
- Knowledge of cloud security best practices and compliance standards
