As part of our growth strategy, we are launching a dedicated MODT (Memorandum of Deposit of Title Deeds) Registration Service, initially across Tamil Nadu, with plans for nationwide expansion.

We are seeking an experienced and entrepreneurial Operations Head to establish, lead, and scale this business vertical across India.

Key Responsibilities

Business Operations & Process Management

- Establish and manage end-to-end MODT registration operations across Tamil Nadu.
- Design and implement Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs) for efficient and compliant service delivery.
- Ensure the timely execution and registration of MODT documents in coordination with Sub-Registrar Offices, legal teams, banks, and field personnel.
- Monitor operational KPIs, turnaround time (TAT), quality metrics, and customer satisfaction.

Business Expansion & Growth

- Develop and execute a roadmap for expanding MODT registration services across multiple states in India.
- Build scalable operational frameworks to support PAN India growth.
- Identify opportunities to strengthen market presence with existing and new banking and NBFC clients.
- Collaborate with leadership on strategic initiatives and business development activities.

Client & Stakeholder Management

- Act as the primary point of contact for banking and NBFC clients for MODT-related operations.
- Maintain strong relationships with legal professionals, registration authorities, and other external stakeholders.
- Ensure high standards of service delivery and client satisfaction.

Team Leadership

- Build, mentor,



and manage regional and state-level operations teams.
- Drive performance, accountability, and continuous improvement.
- Develop training programs and operational guidelines to support business expansion.

Compliance & Risk Management

- Ensure compliance with state-specific registration laws, stamp duty regulations, and banking requirements.
- Implement robust controls to mitigate operational and legal risks.
- Maintain accurate records, MIS reports, and audit-ready documentation.

Desired Candidate Profile

- Bachelor's degree in Law, Business Administration, Management, or a related field. An MBA or LLB is preferred.
- 10 to 15+ years of experience in banking operations, mortgage operations, legal services, registration processes, secured lending businesses, or business operations. Candidates with a proven track record of establishing, scaling, and growing operations in e-commerce, last-mile operations, logistics, or other high-growth service businesses are also encouraged to apply.
- Solid understanding of MODT registration processes, mortgage documentation, property laws, and Sub-Registrar Office procedures.
- Prior experience working with Banks, NBFCs, legal service providers, or mortgage operations firms will be highly preferred.
- Proven experience in setting up and scaling operations across multiple locations or states.
- Strong leadership, stakeholder management, and problem-solving skills.
- Willingness to travel extensively for business expansion and operational oversight.
