We are looking for an experienced Purchase Executive with a background in the Jewellery Industry. The candidate will be responsible for end-to-end procurement of raw materials, jewellery components, packaging materials, consumables, and services required for manufacturing and retail operations.

The role involves vendor sourcing, supplier management, purchase planning, price negotiation, purchase order management, inventory coordination, cost control, and timely procurement while ensuring required quality standards and operational efficiency.

Key Responsibilities:

- Source and procure gold, diamonds, gemstones, jewellery findings, jewellery components, packaging materials, consumables, and other required materials.
- Identify, evaluate, onboard, and develop reliable vendors and suppliers.
- Obtain quotations, conduct comparative analysis, negotiate pricing and commercial terms, and finalize purchases.
- Prepare, issue, and manage Purchase Orders (POs) and ensure timely follow-up with suppliers.
- Coordinate with Production, Merchandising, Inventory, Stores, Finance, and other internal departments to understand procurement requirements.
- Monitor stock and inventory levels to ensure uninterrupted availability of materials.
- Track purchase orders and ensure on-time delivery as per production and business requirements.
- Verify supplier invoices, delivery challans, purchase orders, and supporting documents.
- Maintain accurate procurement records, vendor databases, purchase history, quotations, and documentation.
- Coordinate with the Quality team to ensure materials meet required quality specifications and standards before acceptance.




- Monitor and evaluate supplier performance based on quality, pricing, service, and delivery timelines.
- Support periodic vendor audits, supplier evaluations, and vendor development activities.
- Identify opportunities for cost reduction, alternate sourcing, and procurement process improvement.
- Ensure compliance with company procurement policies, approval processes, and applicable statutory requirements.
- Prepare and maintain Purchase MIS reports, procurement reports, vendor performance reports, and cost analysis for management review.

Required Skills & Competencies:

- Experience in Purchase, Procurement, or Sourcing within the Jewellery Industry.
- Knowledge of gold, diamonds, gemstones, jewellery components, findings, packaging materials, and consumables.
- Robust experience in vendor management and supplier development.
- Excellent negotiation and cost-control skills.
- Knowledge of Purchase Order (PO) processing and procurement documentation.
- Understanding of inventory management and material planning.
- Good analytical, communication, and coordination skills.
- Proficiency in MS Excel, ERP, or procurement management systems.
- Ability to manage multiple vendors and procurement requirements simultaneously.

Preferred Candidate Profile

- 1 - 5 years of relevant experience in Purchase or Procurement, preferably in the Jewellery / Gems & Jewellery / Jewellery Manufacturing industry.
- Strong vendor network and understanding of the jewellery procurement ecosystem will be an advantage.
- Candidates with hands-on experience in raw material sourcing, vendor negotiation, PO management, and inventory coordination are preferred.
