About the Role - Sr. Product Manager

We are building an enterprise-grade control plane for AI agents that can take real action across a company's technology stack securely, reliably, and with full governance, auditability, and observability. Our product surface is already broad. It spans an agent and workflow platform, AI automation capabilities, enterprise integrations, governance layers, observability, and multiple adjacent product lines. However, we do not yet have a dedicated product leader. You will be the first. This is a hands-on founding product leadership role. You will define the product direction across the entire portfolio, bring structure to a fast-moving engineering organization, and help transform a strong technical platform into a focused, scalable enterprise product company. We are looking for someone who has built and shipped serious enterprise software before someone who understands that enterprise product management is not just roadmap tracking. It requires customer discovery, technical depth, prioritization, compliance awareness, go-to-market alignment, and the ability to turn ambiguity into clear product decisions. You will work closely with founders, engineering, sales, solution engineering, customer success, and early enterprise customers to decide what we build, what we defer, and what we stop doing.

What You Will Own

- Product Strategy and Portfolio Direction You will own product strategy and roadmap across the full portfolio. This includes defining the product vision, identifying the most valuable market opportunities, and translating business goals into clear product priorities. You will be responsible for making hard calls on what to build, what to delay, and what to kill and defending those decisions with customer evidence, market understanding, technical feasibility, and business impact.
- Roadmap Prioritization Across Multiple Product Lines You will manage prioritization across multiple product areas under finite engineering capacity. This includes balancing customer commitments, platform investments, enterprise-readiness requirements, technical debt, and new product bets. You should be comfortable operating in an environment where everything feels important, but only a few things can be executed well.
- Enterprise Product Development End to End You will take products and features from discovery through launch, adoption, and iteration. This includes problem discovery, customer interviews, requirements gathering, technical scoping, specification writing, delivery planning, release coordination, adoption tracking, and feedback loops. You will account for the full enterprise reality: security reviews, procurement cycles, integration complexity, rollout planning, admin controls, supportability, and long-term maintainability.
- Metrics, Instrumentation, and Product Discipline You will define the North Star metric for the product and the input metrics that matter across different product lines. You will establish the discipline to measure adoption, activation, retention, task success, workflow completion, agent reliability, cost efficiency, latency, error rates, customer value, and enterprise readiness.

Product decisions should increasingly be driven by evidence, usage data, customer feedback, and business outcomes.
- High-Velocity Execution with Engineering You will work closely with engineering in a high-velocity, prototype-first environment. The goal is not to slow the team down with heavy process. The goal is to add product clarity, sharper prioritization, stronger customer focus, and better execution discipline without becoming a bottleneck. You should be comfortable reviewing prototypes, refining specs quickly, making trade-offs in real time, and helping teams move from demo-quality features to enterprise-ready products.
- Building the Product Function As the first product leader, you will define how product management works in the company. You will establish product processes, roadmap practices, discovery rituals, prioritization frameworks, documentation standards, release discipline, and product operating cadence. As the company scales, you will also help hire and develop the product team.

What You Must Bring
- Enterprise Product Leadership Experience You must have significant experience building enterprise B2B or SaaS products. You should have owned products through the full lifecycle: discovery, specification, launch, adoption, iteration, and scale. You should have experience delivering software to large organizations with demanding technical, operational, security, and compliance requirements.
- Experience with Compliance-Sensitive Enterprise Buyers You should have a strong track record shipping products used by compliance-sensitive enterprise customers. You should be fluent in product requirements related to security, auditability, RBAC, SSO, multi-tenancy, data residency, access control, approval workflows, and enterprise administration. You should understand how these requirements impact product design, architecture, sales cycles, and customer adoption.
- Enterprise Go-to-Market and Procurement Awareness You should understand how enterprise software is evaluated, purchased, deployed, and expanded. This includes experience with security questionnaires, POCs, pilots, procurement processes, integration requests, customer success handoffs, and multi-stakeholder buying committees. You should know how to build product capabilities and proof points that help sales and solution teams win enterprise deals.
- Multi-Product or Platform Ownership You should have experience managing a platform or portfolio with multiple product lines, user personas, and competing priorities. You should be comfortable making hard trade-offs between short-term customer asks, long-term platform strategy, technical investments, and commercial opportunities.
- Technical Credibility in AI, LLMs,

or Agentic Systems You do not need to be a hands-on engineer, but you must be technically credible. You should be able to reason about AI agents, LLM capabilities, model limitations, non-deterministic behavior, prompt design, tool execution, orchestration, latency, cost, observability, evaluation, and reliability. You should be able to collaborate deeply with engineering and make informed product decisions in technically complex areas.
- Strong Customer Discovery and PMF Instinct You should be strong at discovering real customer pain, separating signal from noise, identifying urgent problems, and shaping products that customers are willing to adopt and pay for. You should be comfortable operating in an early, ambiguous market where product-market fit is still being sharpened.
- Founder-Level Ownership This is not a narrow product management role. We need someone who thinks and acts like a founder. You should be comfortable with ambiguity, incomplete information, fast-changing priorities, and hands-on execution. You should be willing to write specs, join customer calls, review product flows, challenge assumptions, support sales, and help unblock engineering.
- Exceptional Communication You must be excellent at written and verbal communication. You should be able to write explicit strategy memos, product briefs, PRDs, launch notes, executive updates, customer-facing narratives, and internal alignment documents. You should be able to simplify complex technical concepts for different audiences without losing precision.
- Data and Metrics Fluency You should be comfortable defining metrics, instrumenting product usage, interpreting customer behavior, and using data to guide product decisions. You should know how to balance quantitative data with qualitative customer insight, especially in early-stage enterprise products where usage volume may still be limited.

Nice to Have
- Experience in one or more of the following areas would be valuable: Developer tools, DevOps, AIOps, IT operations, SRE platforms, or automation platforms
- Experience in Enterprise AI, LLM platforms, agent frameworks, workflow automation, or orchestration products
- HR-tech, ATS, recruiting automation, or enterprise workflow systems
- Building or scaling a product function from scratch
- Working with SOC 2, ISO 27001, enterprise security reviews, or compliance programs
- Experience with APIs, integrations, workflow builders, observability platforms, or governance products
- Experience supporting sales-led enterprise go-to-market motions

What This Role Is Not

This is not a roadmap administration role. This is not a project management role focused only on tracking engineering tasks. This is not a role for someone who only wants to manage process from a distance. This is a hands-on product leadership role for someone who can define, shape, and scale enterprise AI products from the ground up.
