Job Summary

We are looking for a skilled Java Application Production Support Engineer with strong troubleshooting capabilities and hands-on experience in AI Automation using Python. The candidate will be responsible for ensuring the stability, performance, and availability of critical applications while proactively automating operational tasks.

Key Responsibilities

- Provide 24/7 production support for Java-based applications.
- Monitor applications and infrastructure using tools like Dynatrace and Splunk.
- Perform incident management, problem management, and root cause analysis (RCA).
- Handle L1/L2/L3 support tasks, including bug fixes and minor enhancements.
- Design, create, and manage alerts/monitoring dashboards independently.
- Automate repetitive operational tasks using Python (AI/ML-based automation preferred).
- Analyze application logs and performance data using Splunk and other tools.
- Write and maintain Unix Shell scripts for automation and system operations.
- Work with Oracle SQL for data analysis, troubleshooting,



and performance tuning.
- Collaborate with development teams to ensure quick issue resolution and system improvements.
- Ensure adherence to SLA, KPI, and compliance standards.

Required Skills

Core Technical Skills

- Robust experience in Java/J2EE applications
- Expertise in production support environment
- Hands-on experience with:
- Dynatrace (monitoring & alerting)
- Splunk (log analysis & dashboards)
- Unix/Linux & Shell scripting
- Oracle SQL (queries, performance tuning)

Automation & AI

- Experience in Python scripting
- Exposure to AI-based automation / intelligent automation tools
- Ability to build automation for incident detection, alerting, and resolution

Monitoring & Alerting

- Ability to:
- Create custom alerts and thresholds independently
- Design dashboards for proactive monitoring
- Perform real-time performance analysis

Good to Have

- Knowledge of ITIL processes
- Experience with DevOps tools (CI/CD pipelines)
- Exposure to cloud platforms (AWS/Azure)
- Basic understanding of microservices architecture
