Role & responsibilities
- Deliver classroom and practical training on aircraft systems, aviation technology, and maintenance procedures.
- Teach subjects related to aircraft electrical, hydraulic, pneumatic, fuel, landing gear, flight control, powerplant, and avionics systems.
- Develop lesson plans, presentations, training manuals, and instructional materials.
- Conduct practical demonstrations, laboratory sessions, and hands-on training.
- Assess students through assignments, examinations, practical evaluations, and oral assessments.
- Maintain student attendance, academic records, and training documentation.
- Ensure compliance with institutional policies, aviation safety standards, and applicable regulatory requirements.
- Guide and mentor students in technical projects, internships, and career development.
- Stay updated with advancements in aviation technology,
aircraft systems, and industry best practices.
- Participate in curriculum development, faculty meetings, workshops, and continuous improvement initiatives.
- Additional aviation certifications or instructor qualifications are an added advantage.
Required Technical Skills
- Comprehensive knowledge of aircraft systems and their operation.
- Understanding of aircraft maintenance procedures and aviation safety practices.
- Familiarity with aviation regulations and industry standards.
- Ability to conduct theoretical and practical training effectively.
- Knowledge of technical documentation, maintenance manuals, and aircraft publications.
