Job Title: HR Specialist - L2 Onboarding & Immigration

Location: Chennai

Shift: 6:30 PM to 3:30 AM

Experience Level: 2 - 4 Years (L2 Position)

Job Summary
The L2 Onboarding Specialist will handle end-to-end onboarding processes for employeeswithin Workday. This role requires heavy focus on HR compliance, including managing I-9 documentation, verification processes, and coordinating immigration-related tasks for US clients.

Key Responsibilities

EndEnd Onboarding: Manage the full employee onboarding lifecycle, from offer acceptance to employee creation in Workday.

Workday Management: Utilize Workday HRIS to initiate, track, and complete onboarding tasks.

I-9 Process & Compliance: Conduct I-9 form verification, ensuring compliance with USregulations, and manage related documentation.

Immigration Support: Coordinate immigration support tasks,



including visa documentation support and tracking, if required.

Employee Experience: Act as the primary HR contact for new hires, handling queries regarding onboarding documentation.

Data Accuracy: Ensure high data integrity in all HR systems

Reporting: Create dashboard reflecting the status. Schedule workday reports for hand offs

Key Skills and Competency

2+ years of experience in HR Operations, specifically within onboarding and US immigration/compliance.

Should have knowledge of BPO/Shared services setting

Hands-on experience with Workday is mandatory.

Robust understanding of US I-9 process and basic immigration laws.
