We are seeking a skilled Data Analytics Platform Developer / BI Developer to design, develop, and maintain analytics-driven platforms that transform data from multiple company systems into meaningful dashboards, reports, and actionable business insights. The successful candidate will work closely with business stakeholders, product teams, and technology teams to understand reporting and analytics requirements, integrate data from various internal and external sources, build reliable data models and pipelines, and develop user-friendly visualisation solutions for decision-making.

This role requires strong expertise in business intelligence, data visualisation, SQL, data modelling, dashboard development, data integration, and analytics platform development. The candidate should be able to translate complex data into clear, accurate, and engaging insights for both technical and non-technical users.

Key Responsibilities

- Design, develop, and maintain analytics platforms, business intelligence solutions, dashboards, reports, and data visualisations.
- Gather, analyse, and translate business reporting and analytics requirements into scalable technical solutions.
- Integrate data from multiple sources, including databases, ERP, CRM, finance systems, HR systems, e-commerce platforms, APIs, spreadsheets, and cloud applications.
- Develop and maintain data pipelines, ETL/ELT processes, data transformations, and data models for reporting and analytics.
- Create interactive dashboards, KPI reports, scorecards, drill-down reports, and self-service analytics solutions using Power BI, Tableau, Looker, Qlik,



or similar BI tools.
- Develop and optimise SQL queries, stored procedures, views, and data extracts for analytics and reporting purposes.
- Build semantic models, data marts, and reporting datasets that ensure consistency, accuracy, and usability across business functions.
- Collaborate with data engineers, software developers, database administrators, and business users to ensure reliable data availability and platform integration.
- Ensure data quality through validation, reconciliation, monitoring, documentation, and issue resolution.
- Implement data governance, access control, role-based permissions, and secure handling of confidential company information.
- Improve dashboard performance, query efficiency, refresh schedules, and user experience.
- Support users with dashboard adoption, report enhancements, training, and troubleshooting.
- Maintain documentation for data sources, data models, reports, dashboards, KPIs, calculations, and technical processes.
- Stay updated with business intelligence, data visualisation, analytics, cloud, and data-platform technologies.

Required Skills

- Proven experience as a BI Developer, Data Analytics Developer, Data Visualisation Developer, Analytics Engineer, or similar role.




- Strong experience developing dashboards, reports, and visualisations using Power BI, Tableau, Looker, Qlik Sense, or similar BI tools.
- Strong SQL skills, including writing complex queries, joins, aggregations, views, stored procedures, query optimisation, and performance tuning.
- Experience with data modelling, dimensional modelling, star schema, snowflake schema, semantic models, data marts, and reporting datasets.
- Experience building and maintaining ETL/ELT pipelines, data transformations, data integration workflows, and scheduled data refreshes.
- Knowledge of relational databases such as Microsoft SQL Server, MySQL, PostgreSQL, Oracle, or similar platforms.
- Familiarity with cloud data and analytics platforms such as Microsoft Azure, AWS, Google Cloud, Snowflake, Databricks, BigQuery, Redshift, or similar.
- Experience integrating data through REST APIs, webhooks, CSV/Excel files, SaaS applications, and enterprise systems.
- Knowledge of data quality, data validation, data governance, metadata management, and master data principles.
- Understanding of data security, role-based access control, data privacy, and secure handling of confidential business information.
- Ability to translate business requirements into explicit analytics solutions, dashboards, KPIs, and reporting logic.
- Strong analytical, problem-solving, communication, and stakeholder-management skills.
- Experience working with Git, version control, documentation, testing, and Agile development practices.
