Role & responsibilities

- Teach Social Science subjects in accordance with the prescribed curriculum and academic standards.
- Prepare lesson plans, teaching aids, worksheets, assignments, and assessments.
- Deliver interactive and student-centered classroom instruction.
- Conduct regular tests, projects, and examinations to evaluate student learning.
- Maintain student attendance, academic records, and progress reports.
- Encourage critical thinking, problem-solving, and discussion-based learning.
- Organize field trips, exhibitions, quizzes, and other social science-related activities where applicable.
- Provide academic support and remedial coaching to students as needed.
- Communicate student progress effectively with parents during meetings.
- Participate in school assemblies, staff meetings, professional development programs, and other institutional activities.
- Maintain classroom discipline and ensure a safe, inclusive, and positive learning setting

Preferred candidate profile

Bachelor's Degree in History, Geography, Political Science, Economics, or a related Social Science discipline.
