We are seeking an experienced Senior Network Security Engineer to support our USA healthcare operations from our Chennai office. The ideal candidate will possess strong expertise in Cisco enterprise networking, network security, and healthcare IT environments while ensuring secure, reliable, and highly available network infrastructure.

Key Responsibilities

Enterprise Network & Security Administration

- Design, implement, configure, and maintain enterprise network and security infrastructure across enterprise and healthcare environments.
- Install, configure, and troubleshoot Cisco routers, switches, firewalls, wireless controllers, and LAN/WAN technologies.
- Manage Cisco IOS, IOS-XE, NX-OS, Cisco DNA Center, Cisco ISE/NAC, Cisco Wireless Controllers, Cisco Firepower/Threat Defense Firewalls, InfoBlox IPAM, DNS, and DHCP services.
- Monitor enterprise network performance, availability, and security to ensure maximum uptime.
- Perform network hardware installations, rack and stack, cabling, configuration, firmware upgrades, testing, diagnostics, and troubleshooting.
- Configure and support Layer 2 and Layer 3 switching and routing environments.
- Support enterprise routing protocols including BGP, OSPF, TCP/IP, VLANs, DNS, DHCP, and wireless networking (802.11).
- Administer Identity & Access Management (IAM), Network Access Control (NAC), Multi-Factor Authentication (MFA), Web Filtering, Wireless Intrusion Prevention Systems (WIPS), Antivirus, Advanced Malware Protection (AMP), and Security Information & Event Management (SIEM) solutions.
- Support Cisco Umbrella, WAN carrier equipment, Cisco VoIP, and enterprise security technologies.
- Troubleshoot complex network, connectivity, and security issues with minimal supervision.
- Coordinate with ISPs, vendors, and third-party remote hands for installations, maintenance, and issue resolution.
- Produce and maintain technical documentation,



network diagrams, operational procedures, and engineering documentation.
- Participate in network maintenance windows, infrastructure upgrades, disaster recovery activities, and on-call rotations.
- Provide timely communication during production incidents, planned maintenance, and service-impacting events.
- Support clinical and production environments while maintaining high availability and exceptional customer service.

Additional Responsibilities

Medical Records Review & Documentation

- Review and audit patient medical records in eClinicalWorks (eCW) for accuracy, completeness, and HIPAA compliance before initiating outbound patient communication.
- Ensure all patient documentation is accurate, complete, and compliant before and after every patient interaction.
- Update patient records in real time with call outcomes, appointment details, prescription (Rx) status, and Diagnostic Imaging (DI) order progress.
- Maintain high data-entry accuracy across all patient records, ensuring documentation quality standards are consistently met.
- Identify scheduling gaps, pending care follow-ups, and unresolved action items from medical record reviews and queue them appropriately for outbound patient outreach.
- Maintain accurate, timely, and compliant clinical documentation to support continuity of patient care.
- Collaborate with clinical and administrative teams to ensure patient records remain current, complete, and aligned with organizational and HIPAA compliance requirements.

Operational & Team Responsibilities

- Participate in an enterprise on-call rotation.
- Respond rapidly to changing operational and clinical support requirements.
- Demonstrate urgency while supporting production and healthcare environments.
- Work closely with Network Engineering, Project Managers, Operations Teams, Clinical Staff, and Vendor Representatives.
- Cross-train with IT support teams and share technical knowledge across departments.
- Quickly learn and implement new technologies required to support organizational initiatives.




- Support multiple concurrent tasks and projects while maintaining excellent customer service.
- Follow BANDI standards, operational procedures, security policies, and best practices.
- Coordinate third-party vendors and remote resources to ensure quality implementation and support.
- Analyze and resolve complex technical issues with a robust emphasis on user satisfaction.
- Demonstrate excellent written, verbal, analytical, and documentation skills.

Preferred Qualifications

- Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Electronics, or a related field (preferred).
- Minimum 35 years of hands-on experience supporting Cisco enterprise network environments.
- Strong experience with:

- Cisco IOS
- IOS-XE
- NX-OS
- Cisco DNA Center
- Cisco ISE / NAC
- Cisco Wireless Controllers
- Cisco Firepower / Threat Defense Firewalls
- InfoBlox IPAM
- DNS
- DHCP

- Working knowledge of:

- Cisco Umbrella
- Splunk
- WAN Carrier Equipment
- Cisco VoIP
- SIEM Platforms
- Identity & Access Management

- Strong understanding of:

- TCP/IP
- DNS
- DHCP
- VLANs
- BGP
- OSPF
- Layer 2 & Layer 3 Networking
- Wireless Networking (802.11)

- Experience with scripting using PowerShell, Python, Bash, or Batch is an advantage.
- Strong analytical, troubleshooting, communication, and documentation skills.
- Ability to work independently while collaborating effectively within a global engineering team.
- Experience supporting healthcare or HIPAA-regulated environments is an added advantage.
