About the Role
FSS Financial Software and Systems is seeking a seasoned professional to lead endtoend delivery of Reconciliation (Recon) applications for banking and payments customers. This is a technofunctional leadership role, ideal for someone who has grown from handson Java development into delivery leadership, with strong exposure to bankingdomain systems.

Key Responsibilities
Lead Recon application development, enhancements, and defect resolution.
Translate banking requirements into technical design and sprint/release plans.
Provide handson technical direction — reviews, troubleshooting, and mentoring.
Manage full delivery lifecycle: estimation, planning, resourcing, risk, and reporting.
Drive engineering discipline: coding standards, CI/CD, release governance.
Partner with QA, infra, and support teams for smooth releases and reliable operations.
Mentor developers into senior/lead roles, building future leadership.
Required Background
Strong Java/J2EE, Spring Boot,



RDBMS background with handson coding experience.
Clear career progression from developer delivery/technical lead.
Banking/financial services domain experience (highvolume, batch, settlement workflows).
Proven delivery leadership for teams of 8–20 engineers.
Strong problemsolving orientation and stakeholder management skills.
Working knowledge of reconciliation applications and workflows.

Preferred Skills
Exposure to card/payments processing systems.
Familiarity with cloud deployments (AWS) and DevOps practices.
Agile/Scrum certifications (CSM/PSM) or Java/Spring certifications.
