Role & responsibilities

- Research current and upcoming fashion trends, colours, prints, and fabrics.
- Design seasonal collections for kurtis, co-ord sets, western wear, ethnic wear, and sarees.
- Develop mood boards, colour stories, and collection themes.
- Create detailed technical sketches (CAD) and tech packs for production.
- Select suitable fabrics, trims, embroidery, prints, and embellishments.
- Coordinate with sampling and production teams to develop prototypes.
- Conduct fit sessions and make necessary corrections before bulk production.
- Work closely with merchandising, sourcing, and production teams to ensure timely product launches.
- Ensure designs meet target costing without compromising aesthetics and quality.
- Monitor competitor products and market trends to develop commercially successful collections.
- Visit fabric markets, exhibitions, and suppliers whenever required.
- Maintain design records, artwork files, and product specifications

Preferred candidate profile

- Bachelor's Degree or Diploma in Fashion Design, Fashion Technology, Textile Design, Apparel Design, or a related field with 7-10 years of experience
