Roles & Responsibilities Senior Manager / Director – Accounting

- Lead and manage the end-to-end month-end close process, ensuring timely and accurate financial close activities.
- Oversee General Ledger (GL) accounting operations, including journal entries, reconciliations, accruals, and balance sheet reviews.
- Drive accounting projects focused on improving operational efficiency and strengthening accounting processes.
- Identify, recommend, and implement process improvements and automation initiatives to enhance productivity, accuracy, and controls.
- Support quarter-end accounting activities, including disclosures, as required.
- Provide technical accounting leadership by reviewing accounting work, resolving complex accounting issues, and ensuring compliance with accounting standards.
- Mentor and guide accounting team members from a technical standpoint, even without direct administrative people management responsibilities.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams and global stakeholders to ensure seamless accounting operations and timely issue resolution.
- Develop and standardize accounting policies, procedures, and best practices to improve consistency and governance.




- Participate in finance transformation initiatives and continuous improvement projects to optimize accounting operations.

Required Qualifications:

- Chartered Accountant (CA) qualification is required.
- Proven experience leading month-end close and General Ledger (GL) accounting functions.
- Strong expertise in accounting operations, reconciliations, journal entries, accruals, and financial close processes.
- Demonstrated experience driving process improvement and accounting automation initiatives.
- Experience providing technical leadership and mentoring accounting teams.
- Robust analytical, problem-solving, and stakeholder management skills.
- Candidate must be based in India.
- CPA designation is not required.

Preferred Qualifications:

- Director-level candidates should have strong Real Estate Accounting experience.
- Experience working with global teams and supporting international accounting operations is an added advantage.
- Prior experience leading accounting transformation or finance automation projects is highly desirable.
