Job Description
As a SAP Project Manager, you have to lead the end-to-end delivery of SAP projectsparticularly S/4HANA implementationsfrom inception through go-live and stabilization. This includes managing project planning, execution, governance, stakeholder alignment, and team leadership to ensure outcomes align with business objectives. Whether your projects are greenfield (recent implementations), brownfield (upgrades), or hybrid, you're responsible for maintaining rigor, quality, and strategic alignment throughout the lifecycle.

Role & responsibilities

- Lead end-to-end S/4HANA implementation projects, including Discover, Explore, Realize, Deploy, and Hypercare phases.
- Define and manage project scope, schedules, budgets, resources, and deliverables in alignment with business objectives.
- Serve as the primary point of contact for stakeholders: clients, internal teams, external vendors, and executive management.
- Oversee project governance, including risk mitigation, change control, and escalation processes.
- Ensure smooth execution of cutover, data migration, testing, training, and post-go-live hypercare.
- Drive stakeholder engagement and deliver steering committee status reports and RAID logs.
- Align project outcomes with SAP Activate methodologies, best practices, and organizational strategy.




- Support during bid phase by contributing to solution delivery models, scoping, estimation, and risk assessments.
- Foster team collaboration and lead cross-functional project teams across domains like FI/CO, MM, SD, PP, etc.
- Document learnings, transition knowledge, and conduct retrospectives to capture insights post-implementation.

Required Skills

- Deep knowledge of SAP S/4HANA architecture, especially full lifecycle project management (greenfield, brownfield, or landscape transformation).
- Strong project management capabilities, including advanced usage of tools such as MS Project, JIRA, or comparable platforms.
- Excellent stakeholder management, communication, leadership, and problem-solving aptitude.
- Ability to manage budgets, plan resources, identify risks, and drive through delivery under tight timelines.
- Comfortable with governance practices and documentation throughout the project lifecycle.

Qualifications & Certifications

- Bachelors or Masters degree in Engineering, IT, Business, or a related field.
- 1015 years of SAP experience, including at least 5 years as Project or Program Manager.
- Demonstrated track record delivering 5+ full-life-cycle SAP S/4HANA implementations.
- PMP, PRINCE2, SAP Activate Project Manager, or equivalent certificationshighly preferred.
- SAP S/4HANA solution certification, RISE with SAP knowledge, BTP integrations, and Fiori exposure.
