We are looking for a highly skilled and passionate Senior Java Backend Developer to join our engineering team. In this role, you will be responsible for designing and building scalable, high-performance backend applications using Java, Spring Boot, and Microservices.

The ideal candidate should possess strong Java fundamentals, hands-on experience with modern backend technologies, and a passion for writing clean, maintainable, and production-ready code. Experience with cloud-native development, event-driven architectures, and AI-assisted development tools is an added advantage.

Key Responsibilities

- Design, develop, and maintain scalable, secure, and high-performance backend applications using Java and Spring Boot.
- Build and enhance Microservices and RESTful APIs following industry best practices.
- Develop event-driven applications using Apache Kafka.
- Write clean, reusable, and testable code while following OOP, SOLID principles, and Design Patterns.
- Participate in architecture discussions and contribute to technical design decisions.
- Collaborate with Product Owners, Architects, QA, and DevOps teams in an Agile/Scrum workplace.
- Perform code reviews and ensure high coding standards, performance, and security.




- Support CI/CD implementation and containerized deployments using Docker and Kubernetes.
- Mentor junior developers and promote engineering best practices across the team.

Required Technical Skills

Java & Backend

- Strong hands-on experience in Core Java (Java 8/11/17+)
- Excellent knowledge of:
- Collections Framework
- Stream API
- Multithreading & Concurrency
- JVM Internals
- Exception Handling
- Java Memory Management

- Strong understanding of OOP Concepts, SOLID Principles, and Design Patterns

Nice to Have

- React.js or Angular
- AWS, Azure, or GCP
- Exposure to Financial Services, Banking, or Wealth Management domains
- Experience with AI coding assistants such as GitHub Copilot, Cursor, or Claude Code
