Position: Quality Engineer

About the Role

Key Responsibilities:

- Receive and inspect incoming materials from the Receiving Department.
- Update inspection details accurately in the quality database/system.
- Identify and classify deviations as Rework or Rejection.
- Ensure proper storage of inspected materials at designated locations.
- Release accepted materials to stock after quality verification.
- Verify that accepted materials are correctly labeled and free from deviations before stock release.
- Prioritize and complete incoming inspections within the required timelines.
- Ensure inspection equipment and facilities are available and in good working condition.
- Participate in supplier quality improvement initiatives.
- Attend quality review meetings and contribute to process improvements.
- Actively promote and maintain the Quality Management System (QMS).




- Share ideas and suggestions for improving quality, productivity, and operational efficiency.
- Execute projects assigned by the Supervisor and provide periodic status updates.

Requirements:

- Bachelor's Degree or Diploma in Mechanical, Electronics, Electrical, Industrial Engineering, or related field.
- 6 Months–5 years of experience in Quality Assurance / Quality Control, preferably in a manufacturing setting.
- Good understanding of incoming inspection processes, quality standards, and non-conformance handling.
- Knowledge of Quality Management Systems (ISO standards preferred).
- Experience in supplier quality management is an added advantage.
- Strong analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills.
- Proficiency in MS Office and quality-related documentation.
