Role Description

As a BIM Modeler, you will be responsible for creating detailed and accurate 3D models that comply with project standards and integrate effectively into team workflows. This role emphasizes advanced modeling skills, quality assurance, and the ability to work collaboratively within a dynamic team environment.

Key Responsibilities and Focus Areas

1. BIM Model Development

- Develop and refine complex 3D models using industry-standard BIM tools.
- Ensure that models are detailed, accurate, and comply with project-specific requirements.

2. Quality Assurance

- Conduct regular checks to ensure models meet project standards and expectations.
- Address issues related to model compliance and accuracy proactively.

3. Collaboration with Project Teams

- Work collaboratively with senior staff to support documentation and workflows.
- Contribute to effective coordination across project teams by integrating models into team workflows.

4. Coordination and Clash Detection

- Utilize tools like Navisworks or BIM 360 to address coordination and clash detection.




- Provide insights and solutions to resolve identified clashes and improve model integration.

5. Task Ownership and Problem Solving

- Take ownership of assigned tasks and work independently to deliver high-quality outputs.
- Demonstrate strong problem-solving skills in addressing project challenges.

Qualifications and Skills Expected

Educational Background

- Bachelors degree or diploma in Architecture, Civil Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, or a related field.

Technical Proficiency

- Advanced 3D modeling skills using software like Autodesk Revit, ArchiCAD, or similar tools.
- Familiarity with coordination and clash detection tools such as Navisworks or BIM 360.
- Strong understanding of BIM processes and workflows.

Personal Attributes

- Strong communication and teamwork skills.
- Effective team collaboration skills.
- Solid problem-solving ability and independence in task management.

Preferred Knowledge

- Prior academic experience with BIM software is an advantage.
- Certification in BIM tools will be beneficial.
