Counterparty Classification Program Financial Accounting PM (GCB 4)

• Lead the delivery of the Counterparty Classification Program, ensuring accurate

classification and treatment of counterparties within the Financial Accounting

framework.

• Assess and implement accounting impacts arising from counterparty

classification changes, ensuring compliance with IFRS, accounting policies, and

financial reporting requirements.

• Partner with Financial Control, Accounting Policy, and Finance Data teams to

establish robust governance, controls, and data quality standards supporting

financial reporting.

• Drive process and system enhancements to improve the integrity, consistency,

and auditability of counterparty classification data used in accounting and

financial statements.

• Manage programme governance, stakeholder engagement, risk management,





and delivery of finance change initiatives, ensuring timely and high-quality

outcomes aligned with Finance objective

Key Requirements:

• 8-14 years of counterpart classification experience primarily in Finance

Accounting

• Solid experience in Financial Accounting, Financial Control, Accounting

Change, or Finance Transformation within a banking environment.

• Strong understanding of IFRS, General Ledger processes, financial reporting,

reconciliations, and accounting controls.

• Proven project management experience delivering complex Finance change

programmes and influencing senior Finance stakeholders.
