Role Overview The Piping Design Engineer is responsible for designing developing and detailing piping systems for industrial commercial and infrastructure projects The role involves creating 2D 3D piping layouts isometric drawings and material specifications ensuring compliance with relevant engineering codes and project requirements Experience Minimum 2 years of experience in oil gas petrochemical water treatment power plant or industrial projects Key Responsibilities Develop 2D layouts and 3D piping models using AutoCAD AutoCAD Plant 3D PDMS E3D or Revit as applicable Prepare P IDs piping layouts GA drawings isometric drawings and MTO Material Take-Off Perform routing of pipes considering accessibility maintenance safety and structural constraints Coordinate with process mechanical civil structural instrumentation and electrical teams Ensure compliance with ASME ANSI API and other relevant international standards Review and interpret equipment GA drawings vendor documents and PFD P IDs Support piping stress analysis teams by providing necessary inputs Identify clashes and resolve them using 3D modeling tools e g Navisworks Prepare support drawings and coordinate with structural teams for pipe supports Participate in design reviews and implement changes as required Ensure timely delivery of drawings and documents as per project schedule Skills Qualifications Educational Qualification Diploma B E B Tech in Mechanical Engineering or related discipline Technical Skills Proficiency in AutoCAD AutoCAD Plant 3D PDMS E3D Revit MEP or similar software Knowledge of ASME B31 3 B31 1 API and relevant piping codes Understanding of P IDs equipment drawings and plant layouts Basic knowledge of piping stress analysis tools like CAESAR II optional but preferred Soft Skills Ability to communicate in English Robust communication and teamwork skills Good analytical and problem-solving abilities Ability to work under deadlines with a detail-oriented approach Job Types Full-time Permanent Pay 15 000 00 - 30 000 00 per month Benefits Health insurance Ability to commute relocate Nagercoil Tamil Nadu Reliably commute or planning to relocate before starting work Preferred Experience AutoCAD 2 years Preferred AutoCAD Plant 3D 2 years Preferred Revit MEP 2 years Preferred Work Location In person
