Job Summary The Warehouse Manager is responsible for managing end-to-end warehouse operations in a facility of approximately 2 lakh sq ft ensuring efficient storage movement and distribution of goods while maintaining high standards of safety inventory accuracy and operational excellence Key Responsibilities 1 Warehouse Operations Management - Oversee day-to-day warehouse activities including receiving storage picking packing and dispatch of materials - Ensure timely and accurate execution of inbound and outbound logistics - Implement best practices for material handling and warehouse workflow optimization - Monitor and improve warehouse layout storage and inventory systems to maximize space utilization 2 Inventory Stock Control - Maintain accurate inventory records using WMS Warehouse Management System or ERP systems - Conduct regular stock audits and cycle counts to ensure inventory accuracy - Investigate and resolve inventory discrepancies - Optimize stock levels to balance availability and cost 3 Staff Management Development - Lead mentor and manage a team of warehouse supervisors clerks and operators - Allocate resources efficiently and ensure adequate staffing for peak periods - Conduct training on safety SOPs and operational efficiency - Foster a culture of accountability teamwork and continuous improvement 4 Safety Compliance Quality - Ensure compliance with safety regulations fire safety and company policies - Conduct regular safety audits and risk assessments - Ensure proper handling of hazardous or sensitive materials if applicable - Implement quality checks for material handling packaging and dispatch 5 Process Improvement Reporting - Monitor KPIs such as order accuracy warehouse utilization turnaround time and labor productivity - Identify and implement process improvements to enhance efficiency and reduce costs - Prepare and submit regular reports on warehouse performance stock levels and operational issues - Collaborate with procurement production and logistics teams to streamline operations Key Skills Competencies Strong leadership and team management skills Excellent organizational analytical and problem-solving abilities Knowledge of warehouse management systems WMS and ERP software Understanding of safety standards compliance and quality procedures Ability to manage large-scale operations and multiple teams Strong communication and interpersonal skills Job Types Full-time Permanent Pay 80 000 00 - 85 000 00 per month Perks Health insurance Paid sick time Paid time off Provident Fund Application Question s What is your current salary and Expected salary can you join with in 15 days Education Master s Required Experience warehouse operations 8 years Required Inventory Stock Control 9 years Required SAP Supply Chain Management 8 years Required 3PL warehouse 8 years Required Work Location In person
