Job Summary The Guest Service Associate GSA - Housekeeping is responsible for maintaining the cleanliness hygiene and overall upkeep of guest rooms and public areas The role ensures a high standard of guest satisfaction by delivering prompt courteous and efficient housekeeping services Key ResponsibilitiesGuest Room Maintenance Clean arrange and maintain guest rooms as per the housekeeping standards Replace linens replenish amenities and ensure rooms are well-stocked Report any maintenance issues or damages immediately to the supervisor Ensure timely completion of room cleaning occupied departure and vacant rooms Public Area Cleaning Clean and maintain corridors staircases lobbies and other public areas Ensure cleanliness of guest-facing touch points doors railings elevators etc Guest Service Assist guests with any housekeeping-related requests courteously and promptly Maintain a polite and professional attitude at all times Safety and Hygiene Follow all safety procedures chemical handling guidelines and cleaning SOPs Maintain personal hygiene and grooming standards as per hotel policy Ensure proper use and storage of housekeeping tools and equipment Inventory Reporting Ensure adequate stock of linen cleaning agents and guest amenities in the pantry Update room status accurately cleaned inspected DND etc Report lost found items as per hotel procedures Teamwork Coordination Coordinate with the Front Office for room status updates Support colleagues during rush hours or high occupancy Participate in training sessions to enhance skills and knowledge Skills Qualifications 10th 12th Pass and DHM or equivalent qualification Prior experience in housekeeping preferred freshers may also apply Basic understanding of cleaning techniques and guest service Good communication skills and a positive attitude Ability to work in rotational shifts weekends and holidays Physical Requirements Ability to lift bend push housekeeping carts and stand for long hours Physically fit to perform manual cleaning tasks Job Types Full-time Contractual Temporary Contract length 11 months Advantages Food provided Health insurance Paid sick time Paid time off Provident Fund Work Location In person
